Well only 53 days to go and we are back from the pre trip meet in London. It all started with a 12 hour megabus trip from Dundee to London, which we can't complain about cos it was only £1. Checked into the EasyHotel Victoria, which wasn't much bigger than our seats on the megabus but suited us fine. Would reccommend getting a room with a window tho as our room was similar to sleeping in a cave! We then escaped quickly to see Dave Gorman at the Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday night which was hilarious!



Met most of the group on Sunday where we had a presentation of the route, sorted out some visas and had a gereral Q&A about the trip. We are now also the proud owners of the 2010 Odyssey Overland trip T-shirt! The meet was followed by a few drinks in the nearby pub with the group. Discussions included equipment, Borneo and future travels.

Back now to the last 6 weeks of working before becoming unemployed and homeless... Can't wait!

11 weeks today till we set off on our travels from sunny Scotland to Oz and beyond. Below is a pic of our intended route where we'll be travelling with a group for the first 6 months halfway around the world in a custom built truck crossing as little water as possible. Our trip with "Odyssey Overland" ends in Oz where we'll set off on another adventure!
